I've mentioned Jeff in my previous blog, but I think I should expand on him a bit. Jeff is an avowed weapons aficionado, a top line technician, and a good man. We don't always see eye to eye, but it's ok for friends to disagree on topics. It makes conversations more interesting when you get more than one viewpoint on a subject. Now honestly, anytime he starts a conversation with "I've been thinking again...", I immediately start thinking "Now what's going through that fuzzy brain of his?". Early on, every idea got qualified as "Apocalyptic". That's my code to Jeff to say, "You should not be allowed to do this at any time, any place, for any reason." Lately, I've noticed that fewer of his ideas qualify as "Apocalyptic". I'm not sure if that's because the ideas are any less apocalyptic or I'm just more used to the ideas he has come up with. I suppose I should be relieved that I'm never the proposed target for any of these ideas...that's usually reserved for our boss. Not that I believe he would ever actually do these things. For him, these ideas are just a way of letting off steam and having someone to share them with gets it out of his system. He's also a good photographer, and the pictures on his blog are proof of that.
I also know that when the Zombie Apocalypse hits, I want him on my team. If you want to know more about the Zombie Apocalypse, read the Zombie Survival Guide and World War Z, both by Max Brooks.

ReplyDeleteYou've got it right - I'd never really do any of these things. It's just interesting to explore possibilities... You know - like replacing someone's anti-freeze with something like gatorade (lots of salt and sugar!) or Mountain Dew (lots of sugar and carbonation!)... Maybe maple syrup or flat coca cola in the engine oil? The possibilities are endless!
